This will be short– like, probably less than two hundred words. I just want to keep up my daily streak, and I have one thing I want to note but not enough time to think about it.
I did a bunch of work today. Well, not a “bunch”, more like… a continuous stream of work. First I did my science homework, which took a while since I did the thing due tomorrow and everything due next week, then I did my global homework, which was studying for a map quiz and then taking notes on five pages of reading, and finally my math homework which took the longest. I had to do sixty problems, all decently long.
I don’t know what I gained from this experience other than a sense of accomplishment that’s significantly outweighed by my fatigue. I do think, however, that it was worth it: this “failure” of sorts (a failure to stay awake and energized after hours of straight working) led me to many revelations of my current work habits, and my limits when it comes to motivation.
I’ll have to think about it. But for now, I have to go practice piano.
