Drive

You have to drive.
You have to reach forwards
And take the steering wheel within your heart
And you have to step on the gas
Hard.

The road is too narrow for a u-turn.
Time is too concrete to mold backwards.
And you are too powerful to stay just a passenger.

You have to drive
Like you haven't driven before:
With a blissfully nativity
And yet cautious journey straight through

You have to drive
Like you don't need nobody
Other than you,
yourself,
And yours.

You have to drive
Because you love yourself,
Regardless of the crashed and burned.

You have to drive because you don't know.

You have to drive because the desert is too hot
And
You have to drive because the oasis has flooded
And
You have to drive because you're sick of staying grounded.

So drive.
