Seltzer

Seltzer is a funny thing, I think.

She started to act funny just that morning.

See is the first rung.

The inside of the bus smelled like mud and wet shoes.

Over thunderstorms the door spits beer speckled breath.

She has pricked herself only twice.

Gray wisps floated up towards the ceiling, drifting through the air slowly, tilting slightly to follow the breeze in the room.

In any memory I have it’s just Indigo.

i want to beg you for forgiveness like a calf, newly born.
