Capsule

    No, because,
Who are you now? Who were you then?
Where will you go? Where have you been?
The question isn't any of those,
which is what I suppose…
It’s rather: do I want to know,
Either yes or no.

Yes, because,
Around me lie countless lit fuses—
Scars and thoughts weigh like sore bruises.
life’s short and stressful, but what I’m scared of
is how you stand in the distance, crying your love.

Perhaps, because,
I am unsure and so are you,
You and me and it’s just us two,
Unsure of each other, quaking in our seats
We are parallel lines that will never meet.

Don’t forget me
And I won’t you.
I can’t see to that degree,
But I hope you stayed true.
